The Hanover Hospital Medical Fitness Center is a client-based professional service designed to promote health and fitness to individuals with medical conditions, as well as to those seeking general conditioning.  Our primary function is to assist our members in the reduction of the occurrence and/or severity of chronic conditions by formulating individualized, medically supervised, health-related exercise programs and providing healthy living education.

Membership:

A physician’s referral is required to start a program at the Medical Fitness Center.  The membership fee is $50.00 per month and there is no limited contract time for a membership.    Members have unlimited access to the facility, including both group floor classes and pool classes, during operational hours.  All new members are required to receive a fitness assessment prior to exercising for a fee of $40.00.  Re-assessments are performed by request or when deemed necessary by the Medical Fitness Center's policies.  Re-assessment fees are $25.00 if membership is active or if returning within less than 6 months and $40.00 if returning after 6 months.  Accepted methods of payment for membership include Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Personal Checks and Cash.  Automatic payment by way of a credit card or an automatic withdrawal from a checking or savings account are also available.  For additional information on payment options, please contact Judy Cromer at (717) 633-8869.
